COVID-19 Update 

Hello all, with all the recent developments surrounding the COVID-19 situation here in the US we wanted to take a moment to address what this means for our business. At this time, our doors remain open for in-house customers and we are operating our web orders as normal. All of us here at West Penn Hardwoods are taking the necessary precautions to ensure the health and well-being of both our employees and customers are not threatened and we will closely monitor the situation as it continues to change.

While we know this is a trying time for all of us, we want to do our part in anyway that we can by hopefully bringing you some joy. While we know it may not be much, we want to give back to all of our amazing customers to thank you for supporting our small business during this time. 

Right now, we have put select sizes of over 25 different species of Thin Dimensional Lumber on a 30% off sale and 30 different species ofTurning Stock on a 50% off sale!  We hope this can help bring some joy during a tense time as we continue to do what we can to supply you with quality material for all of your woodworking projects.

This sale is available online and in-house but please keep certain things in mind: 

1) While our doors are open to the public, if you are exhibiting symptoms of illness or feeling not well then PLEASE do not come into our warehouse. We are a small, family-owned business and our 11 employees depend on this work to provide them with some financial security during this time so please help us keep our doors open by visiting us another time if you are not well. 

2) While we are still operating normally, we ask for your patience and consideration during this time as we navigate the unknown waters along with everyone else. We are working with employees who do not feel secure enough to come in and operating on a much smaller level right now but are doing our absolute best to keep our operations open and running until we feel that it is unsafe for them to remain intact. Online orders will take a longer to be processed and shipping times may be delayed due to those companies slowing down their operations. 


We want to thank everyone again for their consideration and support during this time. The woodworking community has always been a special place for us and it is what makes our jobs enjoyable; we are wishing all of our fellow woodworkers safety and well-being during this time and will continue to update you as the situation unfolds.
